The LYNX Blue Line and available parking places are two choices for getting to the 2022 Presidents Cup at Quail Hollow Club, according to event organizers.

Those driving to the event will be able to park at one of six Charlotte locations, with shuttle service to and from the stadium. PresidentsCup.com offers parking that needs a reservation and payment in advance.

You may find parking choices for the Presidents Cup at:

  • Bojangles Coliseum
  • Carowinds
  • Ballantyne Corporate Place
  • Charlotte Catholic High School
  • Hedgemore Plaza
  • SouthPark Mall

Officials have set up a pick-up and drop-off area on Gleneagles Road for fans who use ridesharing services like Uber or Lyft.

Attendees were also encouraged to take the LYNX Blue Line subway. Visitors should depart at Sharon Road West so that shuttles may bring them to Quail Hollow’s main gate.

The executive director, Adam Sperling, recommends anybody interested in obtaining a parking permit to do so as soon as possible. Those who use ridesharing services or the LYNX Blue Line should also change their arrival times to match weekday traffic patterns.

A free shuttle runs from the Charlotte Convention Center on East MLK Boulevard to Quail Hollow.

Every two years, an American golf team plays in the Presidents Cup, a worldwide men’s golf competition, against a non-European golf team.

Even though Friday and Saturday are sold out, PresidentsCup.com still has tickets available for Thursday and Sunday.

Lost and Found

A shuttle pick-up and drop-off site will be located in the main Guest Services tent. Items can be returned the same day if they are found before 6 p.m. on the day they were lost. If unclaimed lost items are not claimed by 6 p.m. on the day they were lost, they will be forwarded to the Tournament Office at Quail Hollow Club.

Accommodation

For tourists, Charlotte is less expensive than well-known sites such as Los Angeles and Chicago. The city has a few expensive hotels, but the vast majority of lodgings are economical and stylish.

The financial and business center of the United States is located in the Uptown high-rise district. It also includes some of the most lavish hotels and prominent nightclubs in the city.
Every night of the week, the city’s NoDa arts district provides a diverse selection of pubs, clubs, and theaters for nightlife and entertainment. The city’s bohemian vibe and increasing artisan culture will appeal to artists.

If you’re on a tight budget, Plaza Midwood is a better alternative than NoDa since it has the same creative spirit but is less polished.

Stay in Dilworth, a historic area south of Uptown, to learn more about Charlotte’s past. Despite the presence of numerous wonderful, calm alleys, there are usually trendy boutiques and restaurants nearby.

The South End neighborhood combines the vivacity and vigor of Uptown with the elegance and history of Dilworth. Everyone can find everything they want simply outside their front door, whether it’s a beverage or a piece of art.

Elizabeth is a quiet residential area near Uptown. It is well-known for its lovely bakeries, cafés, and restaurants. It is a good choice for families that want to get away from the city without sacrificing convenience.

While Charlotte’s light rail system makes it easy to get around, the Charlotte B-bike-sharing program provides a more leisurely way to explore the city.
