Presidents Cup 2026 Parking and Transportation at Medinah
Presidents Cup 2026 parking is off site only. There is no general parking at Medinah Country Club, so every general pass sends you to a lot in the western suburbs and a free shuttle takes you the rest of the way.
Parking, shuttles, the Metra train and rideshare all run Tuesday 22 through Sunday 27 September, which covers the two practice days as well as the four competition days.

Presidents Cup 2026 Parking Lots, Prices and Shuttles
Three general parking lots serve the tournament. All three open Tuesday through Sunday and all three run complimentary shuttles to the Presidents Cup West Entrance. Rides take 10 to 20 minutes depending on the lot and the hour.

One address note. The official listing prints the Black Lot as Windsor Ave., but the property is at 225 Windsor Drive in Itasca. Search for Windsor Drive or your navigation will not find it.
The Green Lot sits on the College of DuPage campus, which matters if you are coming by bus. See the Pace section below.
Four rules that catch people out
- Reserve in advance. Passes are sold only at presidentscup.com/parking. Nothing is sold on site, and turning up without a pass leaves you nowhere to park.
- Parking is not included with a ticket. It is a separate purchase, sold by the day. No multi day pass is advertised, so buy one for each day you attend.
- Passes are digital. Download yours before you leave. The official advice is to have it open and ready on arrival to keep the traffic moving.
- Empty the car of banned items first. Anything oversized or prohibited has to go back to your vehicle before you are allowed to board a shuttle, and that is a 10 to 20 minute ride each way.
Other lots you may see signposted
Not every lot on the tournament map is open to general ticket holders. The Gold Lot at 250 W. Schick Rd. in Bloomingdale is corporate parking. Lot A is valet at the club itself and Lot C is at 600 Medinah Rd. in Roselle, both restricted to 1924 Club ticket holders, and both use the North Entrance. Those three run Wednesday through Sunday, not Tuesday.
Accessible parking
No accessible lot or accessible drop-off has been published for this Presidents Cup. There is no accessibility page on the official site and the FAQ does not cover it. If you need arrangements, contact ticket support on 1-800-404-7887 or at ticketsupport@pgatourhq.com well before you travel rather than sorting it out at the gate.
Metra Train to Medinah Station
The train is the simplest way in from downtown Chicago. Metra’s Milwaukee District West Line runs from Chicago Union Station on Canal Street to Medinah Station at 7N082 Medinah Rd., Tuesday through Sunday. The ride takes about 45 to 50 minutes.
A complimentary shuttle links Medinah Station to the Presidents Cup West Entrance, so you never need a car.

- Line: Milwaukee District West (MD-W).
- Journey: about 45 to 50 minutes.

Check the weekend timetable carefully at metra.com. The MD-W line runs 21 or 22 trains each way on a weekday, 12 on Saturday and only 9 on Sunday, mostly at two hour gaps. Sunday singles finish late in the afternoon, so the last train home matters more than the first one out.
Pace Buses to the College of DuPage
Pace Routes 714 and 715 serve the College of DuPage, which is the Green Lot. From there you board the same complimentary parking shuttle as drivers.
One catch. There is no Pace service to the College of DuPage on Saturday or Sunday, because both routes are weekday only. For the weekend sessions, take Metra or drive. Pace runs an online trip planner that connects its routes with MD-W times if you want to combine the two.
Rideshare and Drop-Off
Uber and Lyft passengers use one designated point: Eaglewood Resort and Spa, 1401 Nordic Road in Itasca. It is both the drop-off and the pick-up zone, and a rideshare lot there also handles spectator drop-off if a friend is driving you. It operates Tuesday through Sunday.
Eaglewood sits roughly half a mile from the eastern edge of the course, which is why you walk to the East Entrance rather than taking a shuttle. Set the Eaglewood address in your app, not the club address, because drivers routed to Medinah Road will meet road closures. Walking a few minutes away from the resort before you request a car usually beats the Sunday evening queue.
The official transport page covers rideshare only. No taxi rank and no downtown hotel coach has been announced, so treat Metra as the car free option.
Driving to Medinah and Airport Options
Medinah is in the western suburbs of Chicago, about 26 miles from the Loop by road. Do not put the club address into your navigation. Put in the address of the lot you booked.
- Black Lot, Itasca: at the junction of I-290 and IL-390, and the shortest hop from O’Hare.
- Red Lot, Schaumburg: the Woodfield area, reached from either I-90 or I-290.
- Green Lot, Glen Ellyn: best from the south and southwest, about two miles from IL-355 and close to I-88.
O’Hare International is the nearest airport, roughly 10 miles from the Itasca lot and 12 miles from the club. Allow 20 minutes without traffic and considerably more on event mornings. Chicago Midway sits on the other side of the city, so allow an hour or more.
Traffic will be heavy. The DuPage Convention and Visitors Bureau expects about 200,000 visitors across the week, so the roads around Medinah Road and Irving Park Road will not move at their usual speed.
Gate Times and When to Arrive
Gate times change every day. Saturday opens earliest because two sessions are played. The course is closed to the public on Monday 21 September.

The opening ceremony starts 30 minutes before the first tee on Thursday and the closing ceremony follows the last putt on Sunday. Neither has a published clock time. Play is expected to end around sunset each competition day.
A safe rule: leave two hours before the first tee you want to see. That covers the drive, the lot queue, the shuttle and security. Saturday morning is the tightest window on the schedule. Bags, Cameras and What You Can Take Through the Gate
Everyone and everything is screened at entry. Get this right at the car, because rejected items must go back to your vehicle before you are allowed to board a shuttle, and the tournament may not run a bag check.
Bag sizes
- Personal bag: no larger than 6 by 6 by 6 inches. It does not have to be clear at this size.
- Clear carry item: clear plastic or vinyl up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches.
- One gallon clear resealable bag: allowed, and it is also how food may be brought in at the tournament discretion.
- Not allowed: backpacks of any kind, camera cases, chair bags, mesh bags, tinted or printed plastic bags, oversized totes and seat cushion bags.
Cameras and phones
- Cameras, practice days only: point and shoot, film or DSLR with a lens under 6 inches and no case, Tuesday and Wednesday.
- Cameras, competition days: not allowed Thursday through Sunday.
- Video cameras: banned all week. So are selfie sticks and handheld stabilisers.
- Phones and tablets: allowed all week on silent, no flash. Photos and video are permitted for personal use. No live streaming and no real time coverage. Calls only in designated areas.
Chairs, drinks and other items
- Chairs: collapsible chairs are allowed without their bags, and must be removed from the course each night.
- Bottles: reusable plastic or metal bottles up to 32 ounces, empty on entry and on exit.
- Drinks: no beverages or coolers may be brought in or taken out, and no glass.
- Also banned: laptops, portable speakers, signs and banners, memorabilia for signing, drones, weapons and pets other than service animals.
- Allowed: umbrellas without a sleeve, binoculars without a case, and portable radios used with headsets.

Distance matters more than usual here, because the shuttle is a fixed cost on top of your drive. Road distances from the club:

Eaglewood Resort and Spa in Itasca is the only hotel named on the official site, because it doubles as the rideshare point. If you want to be within walking distance of a gate, that is the one.
